This Me 262 cockpit is a very accurate replica of the original one. We invested a lot of time to make a cockpit that not only shows each detail, but to create a realistic interiour with character ! The super detailed dash board and side consoles show up all the original nomenclatures, the seat features the original "used leather" cushion and seat parachute. The control stick is detailed to the tiniest detail and even the map case is not missing. The cockpit also undergoes a time consuming weathering process that let ou feel that this is the REAL ONE ! All parts are handmade here at GRUMANIA - no China product ! The cockpit comes -ready to install- and is held in the model by simple beech wood stringers that run along the cockpit floor. No mounting with screws needed. Detachable in seconds.
If you are building the C1-version with one central turbine, a part of the cockpit floor and seat needs to be cut away and strengthened, to make space for the turbine.
