ATTENTION : this retract is the new 2023 version and substitutes the old retracts, that are no longer available.

New version, based on the Electron ER 50 electronics, main leg units and actuator for the nose gear unit. We added a very special nose leg retract unit , that is made in house. The nose leg on the Me 262 was a real challenge, as the full size 262 has an extreme retraction angle. This is not only important for the scale looks, the forward rake is also important for good ground handling. Legs are made of aircraft grade aluminium and feature a damping system for super soft landings. The nose wheel is scale and the main wheels are supplied with moulded parts for the rims. We supply this all new set with air operated brakes, as we found out , that electrical brakes are just too weak for such big wheels. The pneumatic brake system includes operating valve, tubes, connectors. The retraction speed is super scale and the correct retraction angle of the nose gear let the Messerschmitt just look as it should be!
