This afterburner controller fits our afterburner rings and simulates realistic flickering afterburner effects !The effect is progressive with increasing throttle position. It can be used for two afterburner rings ( more possible with Y-lead) and is equiped with a JR servo lead.
Weight: 10 grams
Voltage : 2s LIPO ( 7,2 volts) No 3S must be used !!!
Easy programming sequence:
-Connect the servo lead on your thottle channel trough a “Y” servo lead or free channel
-Connect the Red (+) and black leads to the battery. Reccomended battery voltage 7,2V (2s Lipo, 5 NiCd-NiMh). A123 2s and 3s allowed. Do not use 3S Lipo. On FADEC ecu systems you can connect in parallel to the ecu battery.
-Connect the afterburner rings. If using more than 2 rings, you will need a “Y” servo lead. One of the rings must be connected normal, but the second one inverted, orange lead from Y arness output to brown lead to the ring.
Adjusting the starting point:
- Switch on the TX and RX. Set the throttle position in the place where you want the light to start the afterburner effect ( for example 75% throttle position) . Press the button on the controller.
The controller will store this position as the starting point and the afterburner effect will change with throttle positions above the starting point.
In the case function is inverted, repeat programming the starting point.
